Mauritius is situated 3000 kilometres to the east of the African continent. The diversity of its rich lands extends over 1865km2. Its superb 160 kilometres coastline, multi- coloured coral reefs, and picturesque mountains make it the gem of the Indian Ocean.

With average temperatures of 22°C in winter and 31°C in summer, the coastal regions are the ideal destinations for holidays all year round.

The majority of the population are of Indian origin, but the mosaic of ethnicities includes African, Chinese and European. This melting pot has allowed all the communities to live together in perfect harmony with the Kreol language at the heart of a national identity. English and French are also uently spoken.
